Wade Zinn Physical Therapy Services

Our Physical Therapy office is located on the 2nd floor of the Poulsbo Athletic Club. The office specializes in the treatment of orthopedic/musculoskeletal disorders as well as athletic injuries (sports medicine) and vestibular (balance, vertigo) disorders.

In addition to the exercise equipment housed within the therapy office, our therapists have all the equipment of the Poulsbo Athletic Club at our disposal for treatment of our patients.

Our office accepts most all insurances and is Medicare certified.  We are preferred providers for Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Shield, Kitsap Physicians Services, Washington State Labor and Industries as well as Medicaid patients.  A prescription for physical therapy from your physician, nurse practitioner, and in some cases your chiropractor is required for your insurance to pay for physical therapy.  If you don't have insurance, we can work out a cash payment plan for you.  Please call our Office Manager with any questions you have about your insurance coverage for physical therapy.

For patients needing therapy as well as care for your child or children, our office is able to provide childcare through the Poulsbo Athletic Club's Little Lifters program.

Wade Zinn, PT

Wade established the Wade Zinn Physical Therapy clinic in April 1997 in the Poulsbo Athletic Club which he also owns. He is a 1987 graduate of the Physical Therapy Program at California State University, Long Beach. He has served as the chairman of the Athletic Medicine Advisory Committee for the North Kitsap School District for the past six years.

Jackie Smaha, PA, ATC, Pedorthist

Jackie is a certified athletic trainer and pedorthist. She spent the last 16 years as a Physician Assistant, surgical assistant and pedorthist. She continues to serve in the latter capacity at the Poulsbo Athletic Club providing lower extremity biomechanical assessment and orthotic devices through the physical therapy office. A new system called Superfeet is available and offers orthotic foot devices at less cost to the patient that can be custom fit here at the clinic. Jackie holds a Bachelors and Masters degree from Eastern Washington University.

Mark Smaha, MS, ATC

Mark is a certified athletic trainer with more than 32 years experience in college athletics. Before retiring in 1999 from Washington State University, he was the Director of Athletic Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, and Athletic Equipment Operations for 21 years. His primary focus has been on treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. His Fast Track Sports Rehab component offers additional focus for today's athlete in the area of integrated functional fitness. He holds a Bachelors degree from Iowa State University and a Masters degree from Marshall University.

Kathi is the Physical Therapy Office Manager and handles all of the front office, insurance correspondence and billing responsibilities. Prior to joining Wade Zinn Physical Therapy 2.5 years ago, she had a 30 year career in insurance claims at Aetna, Inc.
